The time is coming soon where I will take my blogging back to a personal site and focus this site on all things day|twelve related. Actually, the hope is that this site gets an entire facelift soon. As well as this layout has served us, I was ready to do something new with it about 2 months after it went live. Also, while I think the blogging content on the site is good, I really don’t want it to be a visitor’s first experience with day|twelve. I am hoping for the facelift to be complete in 30 days. I am excited about transitioning this site to something simpler and more focused and I’m equally excited about relaunching my blog.
When my blog relaunches it will be focused mainly on these 4 topics: church, culture, coffee and communication. Yes, they all start with “c.” That wasn’t intentional but when I considered the topics I spend most of my time thinking about these all sort of jumped out at me. I am tinkering with some ideas on how to relaunch but haven’t landed on the concept entirely. I am looking forward to focusing my writing in these areas, and at the same time feel comfortable that these categories will give me plenty of freedom to write.
So now that I’ve made these “promises” public, I better get to work.
Thank God you will still blog about coffee, not sure what we’d do without that
