I don’t often use a blog post to serve as a reminder for upcoming events but there is so much happening this weekend that I wanted you to have it all in one place. Please don’t lose sight of your opportunity to engage someone else in this weekend … we have parties, contests, worship services and even discounts on a Mother’s Day lunch. Something for everyone.
may 7th: 6 pm – ?: First Friday party
may 9th: 10am-noon: mother’s day art contest. remember, winner gets $300, 2nd place $150 and 3rd place $50
may 9th: 10:30am-11:30am: worship service
Finally, as a way for us all to celebrate mothers’ day together we have arranged for a 10% discount for all day|twelve attendees at Arcadia Farms, the bistro at the Phoenix Art Museum, which is steps from where we meet for worship. Can’t beat that! Oh, side note, if you do go to Arcadia Farms, be generous with your tip! Let’s be friendly neighbors.
